Sports Injuries
Physiotherapists are experts in the assessment, diagnosis and treatment of all sports injuries. Early diagnosis and treatment will get you back on the field quicker – don’t just wait for it to get better and end up with a chronic problem.
Soft tissue injuries should be treated with the RICED principles:

From the aggravating activity |
| Ice |
Ice the injured area for 15 minutes (cool not freeze) 2-3 times per day for the first 2-3 days |
| Compression |
Compress the area with a elastic compression bandage |
| Elevation |
Keep the affected part elevated above the heart where possible |
| Diagnosis |
See a physiotherapist as early as possible |
