Exercise Physiologists
Regenerate Fitness and Rehabilitation is staffed by Exercise Physiologists. An exercise physiologist has a minimum three year univeristy qualification in Sports Science or Human Movement. Our exercise physiologists work closely alongside the Physiotherapists at Regenerate and have a solid understanding of biomechanics, anatomy and pathology.
Some of our exercise physiologists have a Medicare provider number for Care Plan and Diabetes consulations and exercise programs. They are also registered with health funds, such as HBF, for private health rebates where offered by the heath funds.
Sebastian Baumhoff
BSc Exercise & Health Science (Hons)
Masters in Marketing
Seb graduated with an Honours degree in Exercise and Health Science from UWA in 2008, majoring in Sports Psychology. After developing an interest in consumer behaviour, he went on to complete a Masters in Marketing from UWA in 2010.
As a trainer, Seb specialises in weight loss, core conditioning and resistance training.
Sarah Tibertsma

BSc Exercise & Health Science
Sarah graduated from UWA in 2009 with a double degree in Exercise Science and Rehabilitation. Sarah specialises in the rehabilitation of chronic and complex conditions, weight management and Pilates.
Jo Whitfield
BSC Exercise & Sport Science
Jo graduated in 2010 from Edith Cowan University with a degree in Exercise Science. She is currently studying a post-graduate degree in Exercise Rehabilitation. Jo loves playing sport and keeping fit and is passionate about helping others achieve their exercise goals!
Gina Staples
B. App. Sc. Human Movement (Exercise Science)
Gina graduated in 2009 from the University of South Australia with a degree in Exercise Science. Her interests include swimming, sports coaching and rehabilitation. She is also currently studying Physiotherapy at Curtin University.
Ben Barnard
BSc Exercise and Sport Science
Grad Dip Exercise Science
Ben graduated from the University of Notre Dame in 2011 with a Bachelor of Exercise Science. He has a passion for helping people achieve their health and fitness goals and specialises in the rehabilitation of musculoskeletal conditions, weight-loss programs and resistance training.
Gail May
BSc Sports Science
Gail graduated from ECU in 2003 with a Bachelor of Sports Science and returned in 2011 to complete a Bachelor of Exercise Science and Rehabilitation.
She is passionate about health, fitness and wellbeing, and totally committed to empowering and enabling everyone to live a life they love with strength and vitality.
Gail specialises in women's health and taking care of the 'baby boomers'.
